Acer Desktop Bluetooth
Bluetooth problem in Acer 5837?
Hi, I recently bought Acer AS 5837 with DOS as the operating system on which I installed WinXP Pro. I installed the Bluetooth driver (WIDCOMM) from the DVD I have with the laptop. However, BT is working. it shows the icons on the taskbar, shortcuts on the desktop and control panel. When I click on any one gives me the error message "Device not found. Please make sure you connected the Bluetooth device." Please help. When I bought this notebook specifies that there is a bluetooth available there. Booker … Yes, there's Bluetooth device in Device Manager on my Acer. However it still is not showing any devices found until I turned on the bluetooth button.
install the driver does not give you bluetooth, unless your machine has the necessary hardware on board.
