Acer Desktop Factory Restore
System Restore on my computer?
Ok so I have a PC, kinda old. Acer with Windows Vista pre-installed on it. Followed many directions, in an attempt to eliminate this darn thing I do not know how many times. When I get to the screen after I reboot I hit F8. Take me to the Advanced menu initialization. I click Repair. Take me straight to log on my desktop and never takes me to the factory image restore screen or Windows Complete PC Restore. Why is he doing this and what can I do? I just want to completely clear this freakin computer!
Obviously someone has changed the initialization data that both paths lead to Windows. You'll need a Vista disk and drivers for your computer. Place the disc in the drive and reboot. (Windows Repair does not clean anything, just fix Windows files.)
