Where did my sound go on my Dell 2004?
I have a Dell 2004 desktop. I went to increase the volume, and well, there is no volume knob! Went my program then Accessories, and when I clicked on volume control, he says something that I need to install a new hardware? Hmm. Now, why do I need to install new hardware for my sound? PLEASE TELL ME WHERE MY SOUND was? Thank you!
Built in sound card (the motherboard) can have driver issues, especially if you used Microsoft Update and selected to update the drivers for sound card … often the update from Microsoft will misinterpret your hardware and install a incorrect drive …. go to the Dell website and look at the support page to find your sound driver.
