I would not buy a Dell, as their support is horrible. They barely speak English, and not take ownership of problems. The difference between optical and coaxial is not much. Allthough fiber optic cables have the ability to move more data, we are not even near the limit of coaxial. Other terms such as jitter are a lot of bullshit. Allthough is measurable in the digital domain, there buffereing inside your receiver that handles this. Coaxial cables are cheaper … btw, you do not need a fancy coaxial cable, if you do not go the distance. The more power you have to patch arround will do very well ..
