How can I recover my computer trashy?

okay so i have I really trashy Dell Optiplex GX240. my mother has it as two years ago, and now it freezes all the time, function of lack of space and almost does not matter anymore. he is now 0 bytes. I have an HP laptop, I do not use the Dell desktop, I just want to fix it for my mother. but I do not have the recovery disc, Where can I download it from my laptop? can fix it yet? i cannot press anything when it starts, it says keyboard failure or something. please help me.
