Dell E510 – Computer does not start?
When I turn off my desktop, I need to press the power button about 30 times before finally to boots. I had the computer for about 20 months and this problem only started last week. I'm thinking it may be a power button is defective. This is one of a long list of problems from Dell. Your customer support is absolutely terrible and have no idea. Any help would be appreciated.
"The support terrible? "I found your assurance department and paid support for one of the best. Anyhow… This could be a switch fails, however, that is a little unusual. Try opening the case or pop off the mask and then blow the dust of the switch. This could be a power supply of chance (slight) problem or motherboard (most likely is not an option), so if you still have warranty (you can check the Dell website using your tag number, service) to push Dell spare parts. If you're not used to it, find a shop that deals with Dell or handle your warranty work for a small rate. Good luck!
