Laptop computers have come a long way since its introduction a relatively short time ago. Here is a look at some of their stories and why they are so popular.
The personal computer first appeared in late 1970 and found a following, even with its limited applications. As Advanced digital technology and microchips become smaller and faster, the use of computers is widespread in almost all offices, schools, hospitals and companies use them. Then there is the portability factor. Staying with the finest laptops and light, is becoming even more attractive to use it on desktop PCs. A laptop is modern can weigh as little as 3 pounds including batteries. They can be taken almost anywhere and used anywhere.
Typically, the configuration of laptops on the market today is as follows: thickness: 18 to 38 mm LCD: 15.4 cm, 88 keys, touch pad, built in speakers, USB ports, Wi-Fi, 3 GB RAM, 320 GB hard drive, Bluetooth, serial port and dual-core processor. All this at a price that is sometimes even smaller than a normal PC (though laptops usually cost more). Not for wonder that millions of people are preferring to go for laptops. They can carry around your folders, or even in their backpacks and have the convenience and the functionality of a computer anywhere.
Of course, for those who need large screens and keyboards, more power or the cheapest possible prices and are less concerned with portability, the regular desktop computers are still usually the best bet. However, the laptop is very likely to remain popular for the foreseeable future.
