Input Devices

Many computer applications today are based multimedia. Multimedia is a presentation of information that can include sound, text, graphics, video, and animation and on which you have some kind of control. Monitors, on the other hand, are output devices that display information for you on a screen. When you buy a monitor, you need to consider pitch screen size, resolution, and point. Screen size defines the visible area of the screen and is measured from one corner to opposite corner. Most people prefer the larger screen sizes, but larger screens also cost more money.
A printer is a device output that creates a hard copy or paper version of the information you want to see. Printers personal computer today include inkjet and laser printers. You can still find some dot matrix printers in use, but they are rapidly disappearing. For both inkjet and laser printer resolution is number of dots per inch (dpi), which produces, which is the same principle that the resolution monitors. The more points the better the image, and usually the most expensive printer.
In general, if you need color, you probably should buy an inkjet printer, as opposed to a laser printer color. Ink jet printers color sell for as little as $ 100. However, if you want extremely high-quality black-and-white prints of paper, you probably should consider buying a laser printer.
