Dell Desktop Power Cords
Computer Help – Monitor Dell & HP Desktop?
I'm trying to get my Dell monitor to work with my HP Desktop. However, when I connect all the cables of the computer monitor (Monitor Cord Blue, Light Green Plug sound, USB cable, and turn the monitor on a power strip) the monitor light goes from green to orange and faint. I do not know what I'm doing wrong. The only thing I can think of these chips are like .. What port on your HP is a DMS-59 video output in an add-on video card. That's why the board of HP's VGA port does not work – with an add-on video card installed, the onboard VGA is disabled. You must be using a DMS-59-to-dual DVI and a standard DVI monitor to connect to the white DVI port on your monitor. If you are missing the DMS-59-to-dual-DVI, you should contact the HP and see if you can get another one with them. Hope this helps.
