• Nortel VPN Client creates a secure VPN for users in a private network.

• Since start session and through iPass iPass receive the screen, now you're authentication through Nortel VPN, and iPass does not.

• If this is your first time connection, or your pin has been reset, you will enter only your User Name and ID token.

• Field PIN must be white. If you have connected before, you will enter the User Name, PIN and ID token.

• Once you're ready to connect you will click the Connect button. You may be asked if you want to save the connection, if this is the first link. (Note that you must choose YES)

• If it is your first time or the PIN has not been reset, you will simply be connected to this point.

• Enter a 4-8 digit in the answer field. Once the pin is accepted you will enter your PIN + Token ID on subsequent connections.

• Nortel VPN Unable to Resolve Host IP Address

• Are you at home or hotel? Click Start Run Type CMD in the field and press enter (or OK) At the DOS prompt: ipconfig / release and press enter Now type ipconfig / renew and press Enter – confirm that the IP address changed

If yes

• Logon to iPASS again. Does this problem?

If n

If you at home

• There is another home computer (personal computer) that is connected to the router? Turn off the router / modem to hang and connect the laptop off (in an effort to release the IP address) off the router / modem again. Connect the laptop again and logon to iPASS again. Does this solve the problem? No. a. Unplug the router and plug it into one taken separately. b. Try to log on again to iPass.

If you a Hotel

• There is a consent form to be completed to access Yes Double-click on Internet Explorer This will cause the website for the hotel (Home) Complete / submit the page consent

Release iPass.

• If you still can not access iPASS open a web browser (click the icon of the web browser and blue) Click Tools Connection tab in Internet Options, Settings button and deselect the box proxy server to use a proxy server. This will disable the proxy settings. Click OK to exit the Internet Options dialog. Try to log on to iPASS again.

• VPN error message on your Token Code is no longer valid

• Contivity VPN Client: Your Token Code is longer valid. Please enter new information symbol code. You receive this message if the token code has changed little before you press Enter or Connect. the far left of the window display of your token, you will see a column of several small horizontal bars. The longer the code token is displayed, the bars unless you see. Soon after the code changes, you will see six bars. When you see only one bar, wait a few seconds for the code to change before going into the command prompt on the screen.
