Netbook vs. Family Desktop?
I'm starting my own computer at 3 months and will be the Acer netbook this site http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10112483&catid=27036 My family has a Dell desktop with the specifications as follows: Processor: Intel Celeron D@2.53 GHz Hard Drive: 80GB RAM: 512 MB OS: Windows XP Service House Pack 3, which I do not know what else. I know that RAM and hard drive are larger in netbook, but I'm wondering how this Celeron D preform compared to Atom.
