Dell Desktop System Restore

How do I restore my computer to the way it was when I got it.?
I've done it before, but I forgot. It is the restoration system as well. I do not care about the files I have that I do not need to save them. I have a Dell desktop with Windows XP
You can not really completely restore your computer unless you remove the hard drive (s) that contain all the information (such as the operating system), and reinstall. however can reset it to an earlier date, using the Control Panel. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Restore system.
