Dell Desktop Wallpapers
I need help to connect my Laptpop my HDTV using an HDMI cable. You can not view desktop correctly?
I recently a Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop and I have tried to connect to my 37 "Vizio LCD HDTV as a second monitor using an HDMI cable. In doing so all I can see on my television is the wallpaper on my desktop. No icons, nothing .. tasks. When I close my laptop case with TV, then, then I show my work and everything about it, but not matter how much the setting for the display resolution does not fit the right of the screen. The taskbar at the bottom of the screen is cut. Does anyone know why this would happen and because I simply can not use my laptop screen and TV as monitors at the same time? Thanks
When your laptop is connected to TV and you see only the background image icons w / o the taskbar that you are seeing an extended version of their desktop. Think of it as your desktop very broad. You should be able to move the mouse cursor off one side (top, left, right and bottom) of your computer monitor and watch it on TV. You can even try dragging a program accordingly. If you just want to replicate the TV that you see on the screen of the laptop you need to go to display settings and make some changes resolution. There is also an option that you must clear entitled "Extend my desktop onto this monitor .
