Which should I choose?
Hi im looking to buy one of these two computers is an IBM one the other one is a Dell I'm not sure what to buy. Please Help! The resources consist of Dell: OptiPlex GX400 CPU – Pentium 4 1400MHZ – 1.38 GHZ – 512 MB RAM – DVD drive – CD-R Drive – Dell – Dell Keyboard Monitor – Power Cord – Mouse also has copies of Windows XP The constists IBM: Software: Norton Antivirus Cyberlink Power DVD MS Office 2003 Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional Adobe Photoshop / ImageReady CS hardware peripherals: 2 – 15-inch LCD monitors computer speakers Harmon Kardon Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 Joystick Microsoft wireless ergonomic keyboard / mouse (needs AA battery) with wireless keyboard / mouse computer: IBM M42 desktop computer Pentium 4 – 2 GHz 1 GB RAM 40 GB hard disk ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256 MB AGP video card 256 bits (two monitors) I'm not really sure which one to buy two !!!!!!!!! Please Help Me Get back to me ASAP
IBM. Dell CPU speed is very less than 2 GHz 1400MHZ = 1.4GHz which is very very slow. days the average is now at least 2 GHz'm running 2.66Ghz and I know people run over 4Ghz processor quad core …. thats kinda 4 CPU's () that works double time if you want to get a faster processor with a good thats good video card All I have to say the RAM is much cheaper to buy, then do not worry about that later.
