Do you think this is a good computer? "Gateway"?
Hi, I have a 2002 Gateway E-3600 desktop, "are": 256 MB RAM, Pentium 4 1.6 GHz, Windows XP Pro SP3 spec's, CD ROM, 64MB Nvidia GeForce2 MX 100/200 card, 30 GB hard drive, floppy disk, zip drive.17 CRT Gateway, HP PS2 Mouse ball and a gateway keyboard.I PS2 has 2 computers (one is 2 months old) but I use this is a 2 PC to use music and plan browsing.I Internet to update it in the future after on.Do you think this is a computer ok?
Simple answer? No. Even to do basic tasks that you will need a machine more powerful than that. Unless you can not spend the money, you can get a much nicer machine than $ 600 – $ 1000. Better go for a Dell or HP. You will see a huge jump in speed even move to a low-end desktop for internet and music.
