Gateway Desktop Will Not Boot
Brand New Gateway Desktop PC does not start?!?
Purchased the desktop from Best Buy 1.5 months ago now he just goes to boot screen black with "gateway logo" on it and a small blue box appears that says "change" self disappears after 2-3 seconds. Have options F2 BIOS (Menu) and F10 (Boot Menu) I tried pressing both buttons do not work! What is wrong and what should I do?
hi, there are two things that you can do to fix this. first, if you are using an order system is not protected to work after a month or so if you do not register the software online. So if you havent done that you need to do it now. Secondly, if you have a recovery disc. just put in the CD. press F10 when the PC starts and then use boot from USB or CD it will ask you to press a key to boot from CD. ans do this, then it will take ro page as a toy you want to install. below this page you will find repair my computer and then with what you can use System Restore to fix what is wrong. then make sure to register. but if that fails, then you need to go back and reinstall the system. sometime its caused by the installation of a new driver or device to the PC shuts off automatically. to protect your data.
