These PC is good for CS: S or COD4? 10 points?
Gateway DX4820-01 Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2.5 GHz) RAM: 6GB DDR3 Hard Drive: 750GB SATA Hard Drive Graphics: Integrated Intel GMA X4500 HP Pavilion P6130F Processor: AMD Phenom X4 9750 (2.4 GHz) RAM: 8GB DDR2 800 Hard Drive: 750GB 7200RPM SATA Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9100 graphics with 256 MB of shared graphics memory integrated'm very pleased with the hard disk space and RAM on both PC's, and im sure that the processor speed (frequency?) and RAM can run CS: S and COD4 fine decently. However, what graphics card (Intel GMA X4500 or NVIDIA GeForce 9100) would have run these two games better? Also, if there is a good site for online PC (except newegg), please leave a link or name.
Both graphics cards are crap, and are well below the minimum requirements for COD4 (6600 GT), performance-wise. want to run COD4 with slow framerates in any card. With CSS, you'll probably get OK to play with the settings to medium term. Needless to say, integrated graphics cards suck αšš. In addition, you do not need quad-core to run COD4 and Counter-Strike Source as well. COD4 is just dual-core optimized and CSS is single-core optimized. Unless you want to play games like GTA IV, you should probably look for a machine that is dual-core to save money. I suggest getting a budget, but decent video card, as a 9600 GT.
