Gateway Fx Fan
My new computer only recently began to have that fan running continuously?
My new computer is a Gateway FX. We just bought 4 months ago. Everything was fine until a couple of days to years, the fan came and did not stop?
I guess you're talking about the right fan processor? This will happen when the processor is overheating, it could be a problem with the fan itself, the heat sink or airflow. If its still under warranty call Gateway (good luck as their support is terrible). If it is not under warranty remove the fan and heatsink, clean the processor, reapply some thermal paste and reinstall the heatsink ensuring it is fully embedded in the processor. If the problem persists, get a new heatsink and fan for the processor.
