My work often gateway fx laptop keyboard! help!?

I was playing a game on my computer today when it shut down spontaneously without any reason and when I restarted only 18 keys would work, forcing me to use the onscreen keyboard with a touch pad i have run 2 virus scans (windows and trend) and they do not present problems, it was warmer or anything the only keys that work properly are: qwertygh '[] – =' tab to change the backspace key up and also all the numbers above the keyboard and when I press a few buttons, I get something else, that is, A, P = 9 4 (right of keyboard) Backspace = 6 (right of the keyboard) = + space bar (right of the keyboard) = O (letter) im so frusterated. What should I do

I say to send it in less warranty and have Gateway fix it.
