Gateway Computer Gaming FX upgrades?
Ok, I was thinking about buying a gateway fx gaming computer, and was wondering if you could update the motherboard ect ect, when getting old. Or is it like Dell and everything inside the computer from Dell is only. Thank you.
Yes, you can update it, depending on which brand you're buying, you're limited only to the mafia b / c most likely be a microATX mobo. For example, this is a microATX http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8891684&type=product&id=1214611180474 You can upgrade the video card / ram / hd / optical / sound / PSU / mobo / etc But I do not think you can go SLI / Crossfire with a microATX mobo
