Gateway Fx P-7805u Specs
Gateway P Series FX Edition Laptop?
The P-P-7805u and 7808u FX Edition laptops both have very high specs and I'm just wonder if they overheat quickly with regular use "as the implementation of cutting-edge games like Crysis with the visual settings on high at the highest resolution of the laptop can provide. I need a waterblock on the case? Also how reliable are the 2 laptops? What is your average life expectancy in recent years?
All the comments I've read / heard about the P-7805u FX and P-7808u FX was 99% positive! I have spoken with several P-7805u owners in particular. Of course the machines heating during the intense game, but the cooling system dissipates heat without any problems. The main difference between the 7805u and 7808u are the CPU and hard disk has 7805u-a 2.26GHz Intel C2D P8400 and 320GB 7200rpm HD and 7808u has a 2.0GHz Intel Q9000 C2Quad and a 500GB 5400rpm hard drive. A notebook cooler is never a bad idea in any system designed for high performance. It can only help dissipate heat from the case and prolong the shelf life of internal components.
