Gateway Fx7026
modernization of the power supply?
I have a gateway fx7026 and it came with a stock 400w psu weak. I had problems with random blue screens and accidents. I think the supply would be fine.Just make sure that it gives> 26 A at 12 V rail I have a similar setup and I a Cooler Master 650 and it works fine.If you have more money, go for a better offer (more power). why give a 700 + offer 60% load is safer to give a source of 650 80% supply load.A takes power only when it needs 700 + so supply is not going to give you a higher bill
