I have an Acer desktop and have it on my sony bravia via HDMI and I'm not getting any sound.?
It is an Acer Aspire desktop running on XP. I had it on on my tv for a while with the sound. I unplugged it to move, and now I have no sound. I went through the control panel and tried to change the settings and nothing worked. Someone know what to do anything about it? Aniceto, I have an HDMI cable. It worked before. HDMI supports sound output and video. I know what I'm doing, but for some reason it is not working.
Of course you will not get any sound. You just connected the video output. Sound will come from the sound card. Speaker output jack connected to the audio input (RCA white-red) of its Bravia.
