Why does my Dell Desktop Flash black screen?

That never happened in all these years I used the computer, but recently started doing it. I click on Internet Explorer or Opera to go online and surf the web. All of a totally black screen sudden flashes of 1 sec. and then back to the website. This is getting boring .. but I that only happens about once when I'm online .. then it does not happen again when I'm still on the computer .. he probably just happen again next time I use the computer. Any solutions? Thank you!
