Netbooks come in all shapes, sizes and shapes. Manufacturers are working overtime these days to bring out the best netbooks. In this brief review, will consider the Archos 9 Tablet PC – this is really a netbook that is disguised to look like a tablet PC (and therefore the terminology Tablet PC). A brief overview of the specifications this particular technical netbook along with rumors of lower benefits, you will be able to see, equipping themselves with the same – all this is amply illustrated in following sections.
One Intel Atom Z510 which is able to measure speeds up to 1.1 GHz is housed in the Archos 9. The advantages of using a processor Intel Atom netbook this are manifold. User will be able to mobilize adequate resources and training together with an increased time backup battery. According the official specifications (given on the official site), the battery can power the unit for about five hours. The value may seem a bit on the lower side, because some of the models launched by competitors can easily watch a minimum of eight hours or more.
The display screen is only 8.9 inch. Well, you can not expect more than a netbook. The LED backlight technology is also commendable. The default screen resolution is 1024 x 600. Chipset video low power is built into the Archos 9. You should not try to use the netbook to play video games later – will not even start on the Archos 9. A notable addition is the touch-sensitive screen – controls the vital functions of the device is now even easier with your fingers. By default most recent operating system from Microsoft, the much acclaimed Windows 7 (Starter Edition) is loaded into the device.
The minimum operating system (as cited by Microsoft) include the presence of 1 GB of RAM minimum. Archos 9 is graced with the same. The hard drive space netbook is only 60 GB. Can increase storage capacity, you have to do it on your own. Similarly, the communication options are currently limited three – Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Bluetooth. The device also has built in microphones and sound systems to enhance their entertainment options.
Camera 1.3 MP is integrated into the Archos 9. The image quality of this cam is nothing exceptional. The device is extremely portable and weighs only 800 grams. During our tests, the device was extremely slow and took time to register our commands! Many other commentators have attributed it to the processor and RAM for low power limited. On the other hand, if you are looking for a netbook slick, which can be viewed as a tablet PC, the Archos 9 is the real deal. A series of software solutions and office solutions is included with the device, the same way. Stay tuned for special offers on sale online.
