I can not move files or folders around my desktop or a folder to another.?
I have a Dell desktop, and I have windows xp, my computer only recently started to not let me move icons on my desktop or move files from one folder to another using my mouse. I can move the windows around so I know it's not my mouse that is confusing. It's like the icons and the files are locked to the points that are inside .. I do not know what gave rise to this and I do not know how to fix it .. I appreceiate any help ..
try it, it worked for me. 1. Organize your desktop icons the way you want them 2. Right click the desktop and uncheck Show Desktop Items 3. Right click the desktop and check View Items Desktop 4. Re-boot I hope this solves the problem for you too.
